Dr StrangeQ (or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb!)
The kids and I do a belated Father's Day road trip that I'd been planning for over 30 years...the Nuclear BBQ tour! :)

Mistletoe is quite the clever puppy and knows more than a few words...one of which is squirrel. I'm sure it'll come as no surprise that hearing that word causes her to have the same reaction that Nicholas does... ;) It's become a custom that when we're going walkabout in the Traverse to try to point out the members of the Bushy Tailed Menace gang when we see them so she can have a satisfying bark…
She must be slowing down in her old age because normally when she gets a tall cup full of her Puppucino fix, it doesn't survive long enough after she's dropped her beak into the cup! This morning, there was still some left in the bottom of the cup. Well, there was until Mistletoe realised that the job was not quite done and polished it off right quickly before proceeding to her bed and letting fly…
Mistletoe's 'niffer detects the scent of something she is *VERY* interested in having land in her bowl. In fact, she's so interested in it that she does her dance routine and then does the "belly up to the bar" trying to get at it before it's cut up and served. But lest you think she's got no amount of ladylike manners in her, she does sit so pretty and patiently before she's released to clean…
Mistletoe is really taking maximum advantage of her comfy bed to stretch out and catch some ZZZZZZZs. That is as long as I don't inadvertently leave the flash on... :(
Mistletoe was enjoying stretching out in the sunlight flooding through the corner living room windows so of course we're going to play with that lovely back lighting! It's an angelic effect for such an angel of a puppy! :)
Mistletoe has been a *LOT* more cuddly than usual of late and this is one of the rare times she's happily curled up in my lap. The angle might not have been the best for the camera but I don't think I'll mind that terribly much. :)
Right before bedtime, Mistletoe catches her second wind and starts getting all playful. She likes plastic bottles. She likes chewing them and trying to eat them. But tonight, she's hanging onto it like it's one of Sir Winston's stogies! :)
Mistletoe gets a bit of a treat in a noon-time snack...puppy definitely loves the eggs and cheese. The real trick will be making sure she actually eats her usual posh kibble when that's what is on offer. We can try to tell you that this puppy isn't spoiled but I'm pretty sure you'll know that for the amazingly huge and stinky pile of bovine foeces that assertion would be. She is definitely spoiled rotten to…
I'm sure it will come as such a surprise that Mistletoe loves riding in the Traverse. It should also be no shock that she's quite aware of the usual flight plans of the Traverse and knows when we're going in a direction she's not quite expecting. So when I tell you she started getting quite vocal as I was pulling onto the Aversboro Rd on the way to the groomer's, I'd imagine that's not much…
