Mistletoe is quite the clever puppy and knows more than a few words…one of which is squirrel.
I’m sure it’ll come as no surprise that hearing that word causes her to have the same reaction that Nicholas does… 😉
It’s become a custom that when we’re going walkabout in the Traverse to try to point out the members of the Bushy Tailed Menace gang when we see them so she can have a satisfying bark in their general direction.
As it turns out, squirrels aren’t the only ones that will be the target of rather colourful puppy language. If you look closely at the pictures, you’ll see the rabbit that’s been hanging about the neighbour’s house that earned a particularly vigourous tongue-lashing! 🙂
