It's also Middle School Night where the kids from Carnage, Ligon, and Martin Middle School get to spend some time with the Enloe marching band!

After a quick run back home yesterday from Ocean Isle Beach to do laundry and get Nicholas packed for marching band away camp, the band is heading back to Frostburg MD for the next week to rehearse the new show away from the distractions of Raleigh (and in a much more favourable climate in the mountains!). The Enloe Wind Ensemble was invited to play with "Uncle" Tony Granado's Triangle Brass Band at Meymandi Hall today...and not just because Enloe was supplying and schlepping most of the percussion kit used by all of the bands that were performing! The marching band is on the march to Enloe's feeder middle schools to show the rising freshmen just how cool being in marching band can be. This picture shows Nicholas with the band at his old stomping grounds Carnage Middle School which was the first stop on a tour that also included Ligon Middle School and Martin Middle School.
