The Enloe Wind Ensemble was invited to play with “Uncle” Tony Granado’s Triangle Brass Band at Meymandi Hall today…and not just because Enloe was supplying and schlepping most of the percussion kit used by all of the bands that were performing!
Uncle Tony works with the marching band during rehearsals as well as conducts the Triangle Brass Band which is an amazing ensemble of players and if you can catch them in concert, you don’t want to miss it!
This annual performance allows for selected school bands to play in a professional concert hall downtown and this year it was Enloe and Ligon’s turn to take the stage.
The theme for this year’s concert was Gustav Holst’s “The Planets” with each band playing a part of the suite.
