Due to stormy weather in the NC mountains, the band was not able to attend the competition at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee which was canceled. Fortunately, our neighbours to the south in Fuquay-Varina were kind enough to take in some refugees from the WCU competition... :)

Another day of painting the pieces of the props including twelve PVC pipes for each of the ten bird cages which are on at least their third colour when we found that the original gold colour for the "bars" really didn't stand up to the abuse of building and tearing down the bird cages.
