Mistletoe is so smart that she knows when the phone's alarm goes off in the afternoon that she's got a better than average chance of getting to go for a ride. She's not quite worked out that if Katie's lacrosse sticks are aboard that her ride goes straight to the kennel but fortunately for her, this was not one of those days! :)
Mistletoe decided she wanted a higher perch after the kids had gone upstairs for bed. If Katie were still around, there's no way Mistletoe would have chosen to lay on the top of the recliner as if she's more feline than canine. It's the first day of school after Thanksgiving and it's always such a load of fun to get back into the swing of the usual routine. We've got about three hours to kill between the early release at school and Katie's final behind-the-wheel lesson and of course someone was awfully insistent that she come along for the ride. Three guess and the first two don't count as to who that was... :)
Between the time we get up and when we take off for Enloe, there's often a few minutes to grab those last few minutes of a snooze before it's time to face the quick commute to school. Mistletoe has decided to do her catnap from what has become one of her favourite perches on the big pillows. That looks *SO* comfy... :)
After Katie's driving lesson and generally getting through the evening, it was time to let Mistletoe have her new toy and a cookie for her treat. Let's just say she really loves that new ball...it makes noises but more importantly it bounces in unexpected directions challenging her when she's off chasing it down the hallway! :)
