There seems to be something about North Raleigh and excruciating tailbacks…this time with what appeared to be Google Fiber blocking one lane of Falls of the Neuse during *RUSH HOUR*.

In spite of that, we made it to Wakefield High School for another very challenging test of lacrosse in a stadium where the end-of-period signal is a police siren. That seems rather amusing as Wake Forest Middle School also rocks a police siren for their scoreboard alert.

Or at the very least ironic when you’re talking about one of the more affluent sections of Wake County.

Anywho, Enloe put up quite a fight against the Lady Wolverines and managed to put three balls past their keeper which would be three more than the Enloe boys team would manage in the second game of the evening!

Katie started this fixture and came out in the second half for a bit of a breather as the entire starting defence was substituted for the rest of the game.

The girls would stick around to cheer for the boys but by half time it was time it was to get on the road for Clayton. We didn’t miss any of the scoring plays in that game and fortunately the tailbacks that greeted us on the way in were a thing of the past as we headed back to the house to collect Mistletoe.
