Day 2 of the Hickory Hoedown clogging convention was chock-a-block full of classes. There were multiple tracks for the various age and skill levels so not only did those young ladies get dead-dog tired by the end of the day…so did I running from room to room to capture photos for the dance studio!
You could definitely see Purple Troupe’s personality coming out in spades during the day. After they finished the communal lunch at one end of the building…they amused themselves with a pushing a cart with girls riding on it and generally being the rambunctious lot we’d get used to where “Purple Crazy” was considered a state of mind and being.
The last class was really brutal for them…they had expended so much energy that it was a wonder they made it to the end. In fact, Miss Sydney, Miss Brooke, and Katie were the last girls from their troupe on the dance floor all the way to the final dismissal from the class.
