Whilst Katie was off doing a bit of lacrosse training at Meredith College and Alex was in school, Mistletoe and I decided to spend a bit of time at Dix Park to visit the sunflower field.
It wasn’t quite as impressive as last year’s sunflower field probably due to the oppressively high heat we’ve experienced this summer but we did manage to get some nice photos of Mistletoe amongst the flowers and perched on a huge sofa chair made out of Astroturf.
Of course, she also got a treat of playing in the doggy park which was nearby and she was pretty happy with that. Sadly, the early morning dew and the dirt in the park didn’t do much for her paws but she enjoyed laying on a picnic blanket in the front seat as we waited for Katie to finish her training. 🙂
