I know this little statistic is going to blow everyone’s mind but the last time I had my D850 in my hands prior to this photo gallery was 11 Dec 2021 when I was shooting some Christmas pictures for my favourite neighbours of all time! 🙂
It wasn’t for lack of desire and I certainly was shooting during that period but it’s just that for what I was shooting, the iPhone was not only sufficient it was also the most convenient.
Don’t get me wrong…for serious shooting, I want a DSLR in my hands because of the speed and the flexibility the interchangeable lenses allow.
But if I’m just screwing around, the iPhone will do the job often as well and sometimes even better when the light’s kind of iffy.
This morning, it was time to bring out the big guns and Mistletoe did not disappoint though she did make me wait for the money shots and about fully drained one battery as I was watching her through Live View rather than the viewfinder.
I think the results speak for themselves! 🙂
