Today’s adventure was a quick round trip from Raleigh to Myrtle Beach SC to collect Nicholas from his short vacation at Ocean Isle Beach prior to heading off to classes at Wake Tech on Monday morning.
Originally the Camry was going to make that trip but after a certain furry someone was not particularly helpful when it came to trying to get her harnessed to go outside, there was no way I was doing 3-4 hours one way in that seat with as much as my knees were hurting.
Unfortunately, that meant she was going to spend about nine hours in her crate whilst we were away.
But let’s just say Nicholas and I got a hero’s welcome when we got back to Raleigh in the early evening…someone was *VERY* cooperative getting her harness and leash so she could take care of her business in near record time and then she downed her food faster than Loki of the Norse legends!
She even got a little bit cuddly whilst playing with her toy which made it all worth it! 🙂
