A puppy this photogenic needs to be captured on film (or at least a digital sensor). Besides, it’s so much fun playing with Katie who was trying to put together her lunch…she’d turn toward the counter and I’d start shooting.

Wash, rinse, repeat!

Who says lunch can’t be combined with a workout?

I really love the shot of Mistletoe sitting so pretty and watching Katie from near the piano. And then there’s the shot of her hitting warp speed as Katie comes to hassle me.

But all good things must come to an end…Mistletoe found a little hidey hole to lay down after doing her usual puppy wildness.

That wee puppy who came to us at New Year’s is growing by leaps and bounds…she has gotten noticeably taller and is at the point where the usual morning hand off through the Traverse window prior to the crate coming on board is no longer a possibility. It’s getting to the point where having her in one’s lap is likely to be a thing of the past.

But in the most important ways, she is the same clever and loving puppy she’s always been and that makes her a joy to have round. If you’re not careful, you can find yourself getting lost in those eyes of hers. 🙂
