Mistletoe has already claimed our hearts and now our laps are forfeit as well. After a bit of playing in her new habitat at Julia’s house, Mistletoe was pretty much out for the count and snuggled in quite nicely in my arms.
At least she’s still portable enough that it’s possible to take pictures of her with the phone whilst holding her in my left arm. I suspect that won’t be true for much longer…
She has a funny little noise that she would make every time I’d try to shift her around…it wasn’t a bark or a growl but rather some weird variation on a barky-wheeze that clearly meant “I’m happy where I am so *STOP MOVING*!”
When cuddles time was done, Mistletoe was having none of the idea of going for a walk. First, she laid right back down on the floor and then my right leg became her pillow. Finally she was on to her favourite blanket and any attempts at moving her were met with her floppy dead dog pose.
But she had me at the beginning with that one paw tucked under her nose and peacefully snoozing away. Can you blame me?
