Time for a bit of fun on the track racing the go-karts. Fortunately, Katie is tall enough to drive and the owners are super cool about letting Alex out on the track with the engines de-rated for a special set of laps when there isn’t anyone waiting.
It’s rare to find activities Alex can participate in and we’re thankful when we do so if you find yourself in Ocean Isle, do pop over to the Super Track and support the good guys who support kids with disabilities who still want to drive!
He does remarkably well and has a good instinct for the car including lifting off into the turn and then putting his foot down at the apex and powering back out down the straight.
