As a bonus, we had some time to engage in another favorite activity playing soccer with another family!
After a fast-paced day of doing Alexander’s High Five Buddies dance class and then his final ride on Star for the Fall therapeutic riding session, it was time to kick back and enjoy some time hanging out at the airport in late afternoon and evening to take maximum advantage of the warm weather.
We started out by doing some spotting on the observation platform and eventually moved down to the play area. We got lucky catching a Delta 747-400 passing overhead…this would turn out to be DAL 9975 which had arrived in Atlanta from Tokyo’s Narita airport and was being ferried to New York’s JFK airport for an eventual return to Japan.
