Today’s excursion is a quest for the wet stuff. What’s the best way to while away the time on a really hot day? A dip in the pool, naturally!
Unfortunately, our first choice of Pullen Aquatic Center on the NCSU campus was closed for repairs and refurbishing so off we go for our second choice, the Optimist pool in northwest Raleigh. This facility actually has three pools…a main pool, a diving pool, and a sizeable wading pool as well as full locker rooms.
The boys loved swimming in the pools and hopefully that bodes well for the beach trip that’s coming next month.
