We won’t divulge the age here, folks. Just that it was nice to get out of the house and thanks to a very accomodating Grammy, we could enjoy a good meal sans kids. You don’t really appreciate how much that simple thing can mean to you until it’s so rare that you don’t have a meal involving cajoling a two year-old to eat or you’re sticking a bottle in another child’s mouth.
And what a wonderful meal it was at Jimmy V’s Steakhouse. A long time ago, a friend and I discovered this place after a round of golf at Lochmere and we were hooked. The service is impeccable, the food is amazing, and yeah…there is a hefty bill but it is worth it. No one else we’ve tried in the area truly compares. And definitely go with the cowboy steak…you won’t regret it!
