Alex has been training hard in running track and we were fortunate enough to be able to attend his second meet of the season to see him and the other Unify athletes run the 100m event with their running partners.
His first meet was hosted at Sanderson High School and he rode the Enloe team bus but with Katie’s lacrosse training, we didn’t get there until after he’d already run his race.
This time, the meet was at Enloe which made things a bit easier for us to attend thanks to one of Katie’s teammates giving her a lift back to Enloe from their off-site training ground.
To say that Alex was excited to run is a grand understatement.
That he had an audience was the cherry on the top of his day!
