Alexander has been getting steadily more talkative these last few months but even then he can really surprise you when he sets his mind to it.
Last night, Mommy, Grammy and the kids were at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants near the Super Wal-Mart on New Bern Avenue. They make wonderful frozen margaritas that are nice sized, don’t skimp on the booze, and even the regular price is well below what anyone else charges.
Mmmmmmmmmmm….where was I? El Tapatio, I guess… 🙂
Anyway, the waitresses just love the kids…if they’re not holding and hugging them, they’re teaching them a little Spanish.
You know, simple phrases such as ¡Hola! ¿ Como estás?
The next thing you hear is Alexander ripping out ¡Hola! in the clearest voice he has.
Maybe we’ve just been speaking the wrong language, eh?
