Another sign that the physical and occupational therapy is really doing some good for Alexander can be seen in how well he sits up unaided. It wasn’t so long ago that you’d sit him up and have to catch him almost immediately as he’d come right back down again.
He still has a definite weakness on the left side and hopefully the therapy will help him use what he can on that side. But it’s a long-term project to be sure and we are seeing improvement…it’s just hard to accept that it’s not as instantaneous as we would like.
