After the winter concerts are done, a favourite tradition is to have the members of the marching band line the walls on either side of the auditorium and give the show music one final performance.
Think about this for a second…the marching band is usually rocking in the neighbourhood of 100 kids. They’re all indoors under one roof and their instruments are pointed right at you.
It’s not just loud.
It is *WAY LOUDER THAN CONCORDE AT MAX THRUST* loud!
It even approaches the decibel levels experienced in PNC Arena during Hurricanes games which are just below the threshold of pain!
But as they say in the concert business…if it’s too loud, you’re too old! 😉
