Enloe’s marching band is well into the competition season which has certainly had it’s share of surprises. But none quite lived up to the shock that Nicholas got in frames 14-17 when he noticed one of the on-field judges (the guys walking right in the middle of the performers as they’re marching and playing to ensure that everyone is actually making a sound) was more than a little familiar to him.
Look closely at his eyes and even though he’s performing and should be watching his drum major, you can see him tracking his band director from his days at Carnage Middle School…Mr Matthew Pellas. Mr Pellas is kind of hard to miss…he’s wearing blue and I don’t think I remember ever seeing one follicle of hair on that shiny dome!
