Nicholas helped pace Germany to victory by scoring a beautiful goal when he dribbled the ball round the last defender and then head-faked the goalie one way and then tucked the ball into the opposite corner of the net. It was a beautiful striker’s play which is all the more remarkable given his preference for playing defense and keeper!
