Today Nicholas was introduced to the ocean and it was definitely not what he was expecting! But for someone being exposed to the ocean for the first time, he did a wonderful job of adapting to the environment. That in spite of the following differences between the ocean and his bath:
- Ocean water is COLD when you first get into it! He acclimated to it very well but it’s not easy when you’re used to much warmer water that starts warm and pretty much stays that way!
- Oceans have waves and they’re not at all nice to little ones who just want to relax! He generally did pretty well with the waves but there were a couple of ones that snuck up on him and surprised him and he was not at all happy with that turn of events!
