Poor Katie brought her swimsuit this time because Julia was adamant that “Victorian Retro” wasn’t happening again. Sadly, our hotel’s pool was in the bin due to maintenance to their water system and requirements to flush the system of any bacteria that may have made it into the system. So here we are at the beach opposite Ft Fisher and she couldn’t be happier to finally get her swim on…even if the winds are blowing…

We lucked out and found a lovely place that was still open in Southport...and it didn't take long for Katie to conk out once back in our room! :)

That allows us a chance to head to Calabash to one of our favourite seafood shacks... :)

We're off to Star Systems dance competition and you'll be sure to see a theme that will develop through these pictures... :)
