The studio showcase is a mini-recital used to tune the troupe dances for the competition season. Katie's one of the munchkins in this "Wizard of Oz"-inspired number set to the tune "Ease on Down the Road".
An indoor snowball fight and then the troupes decorated one of their own as a living Christmas tree wrapped up like an Egyptian mummy in paper and tinsel and all manner of decorations.
Katie does two classes back-to-back...Tween Lyrical and Tween Jazz!
Sitting in on a Purple Troupe class is always fun...these girls are *SO* loaded with personality that makes you wonder if it's easier herding cats. And then they get going on their dance and you're left stunned wondering what just happened to that chaos... :)
Traditional clogging as well as the final performance of "Centerfield" after which the young ladies of Purple Troupe were more than happy to ditch their itchy costumes that absolutely no one in the troupe liked! :)
